SUNDAY 10th NOVEMBER
Mystery Run and
BBQ @ Darcy’s
This was a really good day out!
Everyone enjoyed!!
The weather was hot and sunny and
perfect for a drive through the
hinterland roads.
Coffee stop was at Amamoor and
everyone was gasping for a drink and
many for a cake to go alongside.
T h e n o n a g a i n t o D a r c y ’ s
magnificently prepared hillside ‘estate’
- no blade of grass daring to be out of
place… lol… and the immaculate
s u r r o u n d i n g s a p p r e c i a t e d b y
everyone. Lunch was presented
beside the lovely lake and the chef
had excelled with the chicken and
lamb Kebabs.
As the day progressed and certain
needs of nature presented before the
homeward trek the ever-thoughtful
Darcy had arranged a unique ‘dunny
waggon’ to ferry the ladies in absolute
style and luxury up the hill to the
‘conveniences’ – Brilliant!!
Very many thanks : to Michel for
organising the day and liaising with the
Chef for the yummy food; to Ken for
the route; to Darcy for providing the
location and the comfort ride; to the
BBQ cooks; to the Club Management
who paid for the lunch from Club
funds.
All very much appreciated.
