Hi Sam and the en5re Road Runner Car Club, We just wanted to express our gra1tude for your support with our recent Men’s Brain Cancer retreat. The community you have created within your club is so very warm and welcoming and we cannot thank you enough for taking such amazing care of our group on Sunday with the car rides, museum tour and delicious BBQ lunch. It has meant the world to the pa1ents who were able to aGend the weekend and I have included some feedback below that I received today from one of the pa1ents, which shows the impact such weekends have on those that aGend and how vital they are to their mental health and survivorship.
We really hope you saw the value of contribu1ng to such a hearHelt cause and we have aGached a cer1ficate of apprecaite to show our gra1tude. In the future, if you meet or hear of someone diagnosed with a brain tumour we hope you will refer them to our services for help and support. Hi Symonne,
I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to you and all of the team at Peace Of Mind who organised and contributed to the 2023 men’s retreat. It was an experience I will forever cherish and one that had a profound impact on me.
The retreat was exceptionally well-organised, and I appreciated the thought and care that went into every aspect of the event. From the activities to the setting, everything came together to create an environment that fostered connections, personal growth, and healing.
Upon returning home, I took some time to reflect on the weekend, and in my journal, I wrote that it was "inspiring, heartbreaking, confronting, and comforting." These words truly encapsulate the depth of emotions and experiences I encountered during our short time together. It was inspiring to meet fellow participants who shared similar journeys, heartbreaking to hear their stories, confronting as we faced our own challenges, and comforting to find solace and support in the midst of it all.
I can't thank you enough for making this retreat possible. Your dedication and hard work have left an indelible mark on all of us who attended. The connections I made and the insights I gained will stay with me for a long time. I'm genuinely looking forward to any future retreats and opportunities to connect with this incredible community you've created.
Once again, thank you for organising and facilitating this wonderful experience.

The RCC Management Committee were delighted to receive the above email from Symonne, organiser of the weekend retreat for the Peace of Mind Foundation, for men suffering terminal brain cancer. She included a copy of a letter of appreciation to her from one of the men on the Weekend Retreat who enjoyed the drive, lunch, and visit to Frank Carrolls Royce Museum.
