February Members Drive
SUNDAY 9th
FEBRUARY
Our sociable car runs are always
popular and our first run of the year
was no exception with a good crowd on
a sunny Sunday getting together in
Eumundi for the OFF!
Then it was via a devious route to a
great coffee spot at Boreen Point on
the waterside where chairs were
quickly brought out to enjoy the view
while partaking of morning tea goodies.
There was plenty to look at with the
local sailing club having a competition.
Then off again – another devious route
– around the hinterland hills to arrive in
Pomona in time for lunch.
The ABC Café at the Pomona
Showgrounds had plenty on the menu
to choose from while members relaxed
around the grassy expanse.
Thanks to the guys at the ABC for the
welcome and good food, and to
Brenton Grunert for the ‘devious route’
and Sam Spink for helping out.
