The value of our Club to the community is surely welcome at a time when businesses have been suffering from the disruptive COVID lockdowns. It can be surprisingly high if we do the calculations: based on our run to Gympie/Kin Kin on 12th June – this is some social arithmetic!
Entry to Museum $10.00 per head Coffee/Drink say $5.00 per head Lunch/Meal at $25.00 per head Drinks, average out at $5.00 per head Average fuel costs for the run @ $15.00 per vehicle, with estimate 40 vehicles attending.
So the estimated spend on the day going to businesses: 74 attendees and 40 vehicles = $3,930.00 ... how good is that !
Plus: mixing with friends on a great day out ‘priceless’ !!
