Noel St John Wood
as Roadrunner Car Club Ambassador
As disclosed at our recent Club Lunch,
I am delighted to confirm that the
President and Committee have
appointed Noel to take on the role of
our Club Ambassador as Malcolm King
takes a step back.
Noel is a Founder Member and has
held the roles of Membership
Secretary and Social Secretary over
the years.
Noel’s good-natured approach to
everyone has made him a very popular
advocate of ensuring new members
meld with longer-standing ones to
enjoy all that is best with our vehicles
and club activities.
With Noel, the door is always open,
the camaraderie always at the top of
the agenda, and the general well-being
of members at the head of the list.
Noel has always been an enthusiastic
spokesman for the Club in the
community. His radio interviews on
my Drive-time Show [back in the
day !!] and more recently with other
stations on the coast to promote
events are always professional. His
links with the press inevitably ensures
great coverage in the papers. He is
also a whiz with FB and his text
messages amazingly concise – how he
packs so much info into 24 words is
astonishing.
So, echoing the sentiments of all
members, “thanks Noel” we are
delighted to have you in this
prestigious role.
