SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING
To be held on : SUNDAY 19th MAY, 2024
After the Cooroy Cruize-In
Time : 10am ::: Venue : Cooroy RSL
The Management Committee is calling a GENERAL MEETING on SUNDAY 19th MAY 2024 to present a revised copy of the RCC CONSTITUTION for members to consider and vote upon.
There will be no other business on the Agenda. Please note : only financial members are allowed to vote.
5 years since the formation of the Club The Constitution has been reviewed by 3 independent members of the Club and the 4 Officers of the Club. After consideration a small number of revisions have been suggested in line with current requirements of the Office of Fair Trading and to update membership needs and obligations. Members are invited to consider these revisions before voting FOR or AGAINST at this General Meeting.
It is also proposed that a revision of the Constitution should take place every 5 years hereafter.
A link to a copy of the Current Constitution has been sent to all members, with proposed alterations, or additions, detailed in RED and BLUE. Members are urged to read it before the meeting.
