>> Ask any racer who is truly competitive in this sport, and it’s not necessarily the purse that they are after. The illustrious feeling of pride, is something that all racers yearn for, and with the pride of many respective nations on their backs, Evgeny Bobryshev was ready to represent to the fullest capacity. Launching into the first moto’s after his solid qualifying run, the rebound of his fork springs were plowing into the fender, the plastic taking a small brunt of force through every roller, bump, and jump. No need for the handguards, he was bouncing the roost of the opposition off of his knuckles, almost welcoming it at times, proving to both he, the competition, and the crowd, that he wasn’t here to mess around. It was tough, fighting the likes of Clement Desalle, but he would hold on, pushing the pace until the final go-around, taking eigth place. For moto number two, his agenda was much the same, push until he no longer could, and fight for every position possible. It was working, positions plucked like cherry stems, and he was tossing every gain and loss into the pile, a summation of his movement being rewarded into an overall. The mound of effort was piling, a little piece here, there, and all around, was being molded into a quality race finish. Taking his pride through every lap, there was no way he would bow down to the likes
of Benny Bloss and Alessandro Lupino. A slalom pattern through every rut and chicane, the weaving and whipping was leaving the competition rattled, enough to take a 12th place ride, and tenth overall finish on the day.
