GIRLS 9 -13
Cami Samples took her Kawasaki to first place overall as she swept both motos in the Girls 9-13 class, winning herself a 9
ft. tall teddy bear for her incredible effort. Mackenzye Brocato out of Mississippi took her Suzuki to 2nd place overall with a pair of 2-2 finishes on the weekend, followed closely by the KTM rider of Rylee Soule who finished 3rd place overall with a pair of 3rd place results. Samples took the lead early
in the first moto and rode a calculated race in order to beat Brocato to the checkered flag by 3.2 seconds. The two of them traded fast lap times as they played a game of yo-yo at the front of the field with Rylee Soule close behind. Soule took her KTM to the fastest lap of the race on the third time of trying, showing that she has the speed
to win with a little bit better start. Samples got out to another flying start in the second moto as the Texan led every lap of the class throughout the entire weekend. Brocato learned from the first moto and was able
to challenge Samples for the lead with
a little more aggression, the two of them finishing only half a second apart when the checkered flag came out. Brocato charged on the last lap, setting the fastest time of the race, but she came up just short of
the overall victory. Soule hung back in 3rd place with an extremely solid showing of consistency, rounding out the moto podium as well as the overall.
