>> As the series pulls into U.S. Bank Stadium, many competitors are hoping to withdraw all funds in hopes of a hefty check, cashing out on the town. Everyone is vying for the coveted prize, the anticipation of steal-
ing the huge lump sum of points, fleeing the aggressive competition; its what lure many into this game. Eli Tomac plans to do the aforementioned; come in unbeknownst, pulverize everyone in the field, and walk away with sack-fulls of cash in points. And boy did he make his intentions known early on, marching out to a frivolous pace across the serious amount of floor stretch this stadium displayed. As the field bounced like a bag full of Orville Redenbacher through the rhythm section following the first turn,
he had to remain headstrong while the pack sorted themselves out. He quickly asserted himself into the top three, his Monster Kawasaki show- ing who the real “intimidator” was, paying homage to the Nascar event in Daytona. Tripling his way past DM18 in the rhythm lane, Tomac had all intentions of blowing the doors out of the coliseum, letting his 450 scream for all its worth. The decibels screeching, the crowd on their feet, every lap he would pummel his difference of the two riders by half seconds; he was breaking the track into pieces, and capitalizing at his every move. His rugged style somehow paying dividends, as he would slam the forks of the Kawasaki into each and every groove in which he wanted. The hard work of his off-season was raring its head, and would come to fruition tonight with a hard earn victory. Well done Eli.
