>> Tallahassee, Florida’s Gannon Audette ignited the fire in chilly Minneapolis during the first 250 heat of the night with
a spectacular 3rd place finish. With an excellent start, the Kissimmee Motorsports rider was in the front of the pack and confidently heading into the first rhythm section. An encoun- ter with a first lap pile-up may have caused a slight hang
up for the #54, but he did falter. Audette was in an excellent position heading straight into the Main Event. After the 250 heats came to a close, Gannon was 5th in the starting line up, an exceptionally solid gate pick for the Kawasaki rider. Would he bring that Tallahassee heat into the main? The gates slowly raise, the thirty-second board glows and the energy is immense. The gates drop. Round 1 for 250 East Coasters was underway in the beautiful U.S. Bank Stadium. Audette hammered down but came short off the start, he found himself in the 19th place spot early on in the race but he persevered. He was able to gain a few positions before the checkered flag, putting himself in a 16th place finish. With a promising start to the night and eight rounds remain- ing, I don’t think Gannon Audette’s fire is extinguished quite yet.
