>> Kelly Smith came out of retirement to race in place of Dylan Rouse
for Team Faith. During Heat won on the third lap into the heat he went
for the triple in on a very technical Rhythm Section in Missouri and came up short. Unfortunately Kelly was taken to the hospital later that night to have an MRI . Smith was diagnosed with a compression fracture on the back of L1 and L2 the last update is that he is waiting on a surgeon to fig- ure out what they’re going to do . Kelly mentioned to me that he is really bummed but he has accomplished too much and his lifetime to let this keep him down. God just had a different plan for me this weekend and i will take it with pride and im very thankful to walk away.
