Coming off to a great start in moto one, Aaron Plessinger put himself right in the mix of things in sixth place.
Looking strong he was beginning to make his way forward when a small mistake caused him to go down and fall back all the way to seventeenth. With most of the moto still left Plessinger had the remaining time to
work his way back to the front. As time went by Plessinger moved his blue machine forward. With about eight and a half minutes to go he crept all the way up to ninth and began battling with Tonus for the next spot. Eventually getting by Tonus and Forkner he was
in seventh and Alex Martin’s bike broke putting him sixth place the same place he started the race in. Running out of time Plessinger finished moto one in sixth place, who knows what he could have done if he didn’t go down in the beginning of the moto. The second moto was a bit smoother then his first getting another good start, Plessinger was rounding out the top five. Staying strong he began to move forward, starting a good battle with Adam Cianciarulo. After going back and forth the Yamalube Star Racing Yamaha rider made the pass and kept moving forward. Looking forward he moved into third after Jeremy Martin had a bike problem. Not only was he doing better position wise, Plessinger set the fastest lap of the moto and was two seconds faster then everyone else. Unable to move any farther forward he finishes moto two in third place. Finishing sixth and third he gets a fourth overall, improvement from the last rounds soon enough it will be a podium finish.
