After one of his best outdoor races ever Cole Seely was showcasing the confidence he gained from last weekend in todays motos. Charging out of the gate in moto one he put himself right into fifth place around all the heavy hitters. Keeping close to everyone in front of him he gained a position after Tomac got stuck
in the mud. Now in fourth place Seely is looking a lot like he did at last weekends race in Colorado. Another rider made a mistake
in front of him moving him up to third. On the podium now he knows he can gain another position and starts chasing down the second place along with four other riders behind him. The pressure was on for Seely, Anderson slowly began reeling him back in wanting that podium position. With just five minutes left of the race he makes a mistake causing him to lose several positions back to ninth. The last couple laps of the moto he wasn’t able to make up any of the lost positions leaving him ninth overall in moto one. A bummer after such a good start to the moto. Wanting to make up for the mistakes in moto one Seely was in full focus mode off the gate for the second moto. Not getting as good of a start but still within the top ten the Honda rider began to dart to the front. He passed Nicoletti then Pourcel and started to close in on Bogle. After dicing with him for a minute Seely held down the pass. Sitting in sixth place, Seely kept on charging catching up to Barcia and passing him. With just four minutes to go he was sitting in fifth place, but then makes another mistake taking him back to eleventh. By the time the checkered flag was waved he had fallen back to thirteenth. Going ninth and thirteenth Cole Seely finished the day with a ninth overall.
