Jordan Jarvis had a dream weekend at the Daytona RCSX. She was able to qualify for the Women Amateur (12+) and Girls Sr (12-16) comfortably with 1st and 2nd places in her heat races. Her Yamaha was dialed in all weekend off the starting gate, leaving her very little work to do. She only had to make one pass in each of her heats, getting Jamie Astudillo for 2nd
place on the final lap of the Girls Sr (12-16) heat. This would foreshadow the racing to come in the mains, be- cause the two of them proved to be in a class of their own on the weekend. Jarvis also pulled off a decent start in her Super- mini heat race, ending the first lap in 12th position. She rode a smart race and resigned one spot to Justin Cokinos on the 3rd lap. Jarvis pulled an identical start in the Supermini main, but the longer race distance saw her eventually drop back to 16th.
