>> Killian Auberson has been coming to America to compete with the best for the last two years. There is no doubt he has the speed and has been on a steady track of improvement. Killian had a fantastic night at our first visit to Anaheim just a few weeks ago where he was able to snag his first top 15 finish. The Swede only had 5 Supercross races un- der his belt coming into Anaheim 2 on Saturday and was ready to chalk another one up on the board. His day started off per usual to 2017 as he only got two short qualifying sessions and then straight to the racing. Killian qualified a very impressive 13th place and was holding his hopes high going into the night show. When the gate dropped for 250 Heat 2, he got off to a very impressive start and was able to settle down in 5th place. Killian put down some impressive laps and was able to hold on to 5th place all the way to the finish. He would qualify for just his 6th Main Event ever straight through the heat. In the Main, Killian im- pressed everyone with another great start as he was running 7th place early on. Unfortunately, he was pushed back quickly but was doing his best to hold on to 10th place by the third lap. He held on to the spot for several laps but was finally forced to yield to Kyle Chisholm who de- manded the position and then soon after, Jeremy Martin passed him as well. Killian settled back to 12th and was working hard to stay inside the top fifteen. With about four laps to go, Killian was searching everywhere for some speed to keep in front of Nicoletti but was forced to give in as Phil made a bit of contact in a corner. The move slowed Auberson down enough to let another rider by as well. Things kept getting worse for the young rider as Mcconahy passed him just a few corners later. Another position was then lost as Killian seemed to be ready for the night to end. He would take home 18th place in just the 6th race of his career.
