>> Martin Davalos has been fighting hard to be on the po- dium so far this season. With a third and a fourth consecu- tively, the work is paying off. If the layout of the main event didn’t change in 2017 Davalos would have won last week- end, since he was in first around the sixteenth lap, but with the new layout there was eighteen laps. Knowing how well he can ride the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna rider got a great start to the night qualifying into the main event second out of his heat race right behind Austin Forkner. Moving on into the main event Davalos got a good start well within the top ten. He was a couple spots behind the points leader during the first few laps. Knowing it is ideal to follow the fastest rider on the track Davalos passed Decotis right away putting him right behind Mcelrath. Now in fifth place the #30 Husqvarna rider kept his head down and focused as the time ticked away on the main event. The clock wound down and Davalos held down his position in fifth place through the checkers. Staying smart at each round Davalos is currently holding onto fourth place in the championship, not too far out of third. We’re go- ing to see a lot more of the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna rider on the podium before the series comes to an end.
