>> Often times it takes a true test of character in order for a rider to overcome and push his boundaries to new levels. It takes immense perseverance to continue to push week after week, withstanding the beating of the competition and con- tinue to step up to the plate. Supercross is a game of hard- ships; and Chisholm has experienced the high’s and low’s of his craft throughout his career thus far. He didn’t expect Ana- heim 2 to be any different, knowing that nothing good comes easy, he put his head down and began to work, as soon as the pack rounded the initial bend. With injuries ridiculing his past, KC decided to drop to the younger of two divisions, and try to regenerate an effort that could highlight past success. Even though, no matter the age, the competition doesn’t seem to get any slower. Hovering near the twelfth position for a good portion of the moto (following being caught in congestion in turn number one), his lanky, elbows down style allowed the native Floridian to really open up and hang loose on the se- ries of straight-aways that the course offered. Battling with the likes of Justin Starling, Killian Auberson, and Cole Martinez, the veteran held his own throughout the majority of the race. And although he didn’t crack the ever so coveted top ten (11th Overall), he knew that he would be able to redeem himself at the next round; something he was truly thankful for.
