>> There isn’t much to prepare a rider for the bright lights of Supercross when coming from the amateur ranks. Stretching from the local outdoor races, to the seating of barn filled are- nas; the glistening aura of Monster Energy SX is unrivaled in our form of motorsport. With that being said, it’s very easy for many to shy away, not truly riding to their full potential, and re- linquish their efforts to the so-called “stars of the sport”; espe- cially in the 250 class. However, I’m guessing that Noah didn’t get the memo, judging by the way he pounced on the canvas we called Anaheim 2. Fighting his way tooth and nail through the blistering field, there was no shortage of hard-fought throt- tle twisting to remain among the best in the business. In most instances, you wouldn’t find a single digit, two time champion knocking at your door when battling for positions outside of the top ten; however, Noah’s luck had run out (after their tangle
in the first corner), and it was the number six Geico Honda of Jeremy Martin creeping over his shoulder for a good portion of the 250 main event. He held the former champion off for quite some time, but eventually the Minnesotan would work his way around; latching onto Jeremy, McConahy would follow suit, and grab the leash while moving forward. His tall stature allowing him to navigate the ruts with finesse, he stuck to the gameplan, and would ride across the final lap in a commend- able 13th position.
