Starting his day off with a big prac- tice crash Trey Canard went into the night hoping for some better luck. Unfortunately that didn’t come hav- ing another big go down right off the start of his heat race. Coming into the rhythm after the first turn Trey makes contact with another rider that ended up starting a chain effect pile up leaving him hurt and on the side of the track. It was looking as if Trey was done for the night, but luckily
he did not break any bones he just suffered from a bad cut on his right hand. Not feeling 100% for his semi Trey being the unbreakable person that he is comes into the race ready to show that nothing is going to hold him back this year. Starting the semi with a sixth place he wasted no time moving to the front. Making it into the main with a second in the race. Pumped on the comeback from his crashes he was ready to lay down the laps and get that podium he so rightfully deserves. In the top ten off the start things were looking up on his night, but come lap three he gets in another tangle with a rider on the face of the finish line causing him to lose his front end. This hard hit left him limping off the track and ending his night.
