Vince Friese would have himself
an up and down night at A2. After not being able to qualify straight out of his heat race, he would be onto race in the semi. In his semi, Friese would fight hard through the pack and edge out Cade Cla- son for the final transfer spot. Friese has been known to grab good holeshots during his career but he got just the opposite in the main event. He would end up crashing in the first turn along with a few other riders and would never fully recover. He would have to settle with a 16th place finish.
