#54 Wil Hahn- Steadily improving his results week in and week out, you can tell #54 is putting the time in throughout the week. Wil had to race every possible lap this week- end racing the heat race, semi, lcq, and the main event tonight at round 3. Finishing lap one of his heat race in 8th Wil was out of
a position to qualify for the main event. Hahn only made his way to a 7th place finish in the heat race which was not enough to transfer to the main.
Hahn was forced to get ready for the semi qualifiers where he was placed into semi #2. With another mid pack start Hahn had to make some quick moves if he wanted to stay out of the LCQ. Wil passed Adam Enticknap for 5th place and the final transfer position to the main event on lap 3. It was short lived when the crafty french man Christophe Pourcel mad the pass on hahn with two laps remaining in the semi.
This forced Hahn to the LCQ. In the LCQ Hahn finally got a much needed start only bested by Jeff Alessi. Wil got around Jeff Alessi on lap 2 and ran smart clean laps to take the LCQ win and take his Monster Energy Factory Kawa- saki to the main event.
Wil rounded out lap 1 around the 12th place position, where he stayed until around lap 8 where he made the pass for 11th on Phil Nicoletti. W.Hahn was by himself for the remainder of the main event and had his best finish of the year with an 11th place.
Positives:
-Best finish of the year -Clean, steady race
Negatives: -Mid back start
