Alex Martin had a night he would rather
forget. He struggled in qualifying practice
finishing up with 10th fastest time. He would bounce back in his heat race and notch a good 5th place finish. After his solid heat race, things were looking up for Martin heading into the main event.
He started the main in 3rd place and was battling for posi- tion until he crashed just a few laps in. Before the end of the race Martin would go down yet again and settle for a disappointing 19th place finish. It was a bummer for Alex Martin as he has yet to finish inside the top 5 this season.
