theGRIT Coming into the night qualifying fifth for the
show Mitchell Oldenburg
was hoping for a smoother
night. Getting a start in the top ten during his heat race he was looking comfortable in a transfer spot until lap 3 when he falls back to twelfth out of nowhere. Having then to spend the rest of his race fighting
for that main event spot he ends up plucking away at the other riders
and finishes in seventh putting him in. Needing a good start in the main event Oldenburg takes off with a solid drive placing him mid pack. The race moves on smoothly for him as he works his way up to thirteenth. As the end of the race nears he passes Peters to finish the race off with a cozy ninth place finish.
