P. 79

theGRIT So far this season, All-
dredge has destroyed heat races, but every racer itches to win a main
event. 250 heat two of Anaheim two ignited with a strange gate malfunction that left five riders
in the gate, this didn’t faze Chris Alldredge. After a red flag restart and a massive bike pile up in the first turn, Alldredge survives the carnage and held on to seventh place making his way through
the first lap behind Michael Leib. Alldredge quickly moved up to fifth and attempted to reel in James Decotis on the third lap. Alldredge really fired up the heat trying to catch up to the riders in the front of the pack as Decotis moved up between the leaders. As the battle raged on ahead of him, Alldredge started to put pressure on Decotis, Zack Osborne, and Alex Martin. Alldredge made a move on Martin with three laps to go.
Alldredge would have a harder time moving through the
pack during the 250 main event. He would spend his time battling with Colt Nichols, Cunningham and Peters. After holding on to seventh place for several laps, Alldredge slipped back into tenth place, and later finished in twelfth. Although his pen and paper results were less than what he came hoping for, it is unlikely that Alldredge will be giving up anytime soon.
