WESTON PEICK
IMAGE/ MICHAEL LANG
Following his disastrous tangle with Broc Tickle in Millville a week ago, it was anybody’s guess if Weston Peick was going to show up for round nine. Looking at the type of guy that Peick is, though, with the ferocity and aggression of a heavyweight boxer, a few bumps and bruises weren’t going to be enough to keep the #28 down or out. Now, having dropped three spots in the point standings to 16th as a result of being unable to secure a point last weekend, Washougal will host Weston’s return to the ring as the #28
needs some haymakers to reach the top ten by seasons end. Not that Peick is looking for blood but without a deal lined up for next season, it’s go time. With that being said, expect for Peick to come out swinging on the hills of Washington. He’ll need the starts, but his mission is set to edge his way near the front of the pack to pick up every point possible before the team heads back east for the final three races.
