Jeremy Martin got a good start in moto one running right around fourth place. Chasing down his rookie teammate Mitchell Harrison, Martin was working hard. He eventually got the pass through the inside of a turn that put him into third place. During his fight to pass his teammate he fell behind the front runners and Osborne was able to close the gap on him. The Yamalube Star Racing Yamaha rider had his work cut out for him, trying to catch up
but also stay in front of the riders behind him. Unable to hold off Osborne any longer he got passed and fell back to fourth with only ten minutes left of the moto. Jeremy Martin rounded out the first moto in fourth place. The second moto he was caught in the cross fire of another battle. After getting a good start he was running right around fourth place behind all the front runners. Savatgy and Webb began a battle just turns into the race. Webb ended up hitting Savatgy taking him out, in turn bumping Martin who was right next to him when it hap- pened. With three riders down in a turn right off the start a small pile up was created. Martin was stuck underneath his bike and had to wait till everyone passed him before he was able to get up from the crash. Extremely frustrated and looking a little beat up it took him a few laps to get things back together to move his way back through the pack. As the race wore on he was moving to the front slowly plucking away at the riders in front of him. After falling back all the way to thirty-eighth Martin was able to finish off the second moto in seventeenth. Going fourth and seventeenth his overall was an eleventh for the day.
