BEN LAMAY
Enduring many sleepless nights on the bitter tundra, poking his way through the rock solid sheets of ice that encrust the earth for miles, all in hopes to survive and live to see another day, Alaska’s Ben Lamay has finally
arrived to Washougal MX Park. The limited budget and use of living off the land stems from his funds and bank account being a bit drained in recent months, as he personally paid for the Dirt Wurx crew to set sail to the Last Frontier, and sculpt a Supercross track in his backyard, completely made of ice. Now the aforementioned may be a bit of a stretch, but it makes for feel good scenario when watching the privateer put his heart and soul into his racing efforts on the professional circuit. As the series rolls into Washington, Lamay and crew are hoping to stake the ground and fly the flag proud for his native Alaskan bush people, bringing a sense of pride to a state that’s vastly overshadowed.
