>> Citizens of all areas in this western territory have been advised, not to contami- nate, disrupt, or concoct any sort of match, which could set the state ablaze. Precious matter of all kind was damaged in the dreaded wildfires earlier this year, and with everything still charcoaled and tarnished, any flammable substance must be halted in swift fashion. Enter Hayden Mellross, a man with a riding style so scorching, that any quick movement could trigger a trail of fire, putting the entire surrounding area on high alert. The alarms were sounding as he rolled in for practice, warning labels scrolling across the bottom of the jumbo-tron. With the field’s attentiveness at full level, he be- gan to display his antics. Whipping the bike with the exhaust scorching those behind, he began to hose the competition with a fierce spraying of pellets. No need to cool down, it was an ensemble of laps put together, each portion being rattled off and con- nected to their finest pieces. The triple just prior to the finish line was easily tamed, as he would launch off the face with his left boot just above the ground, and land with it
in the same motion. Relishing in his efforts, he would exit stage right, and prepare for qualifying. Darting through the field in the opening laps, his bike would squirm down the start straight, the back wheel spinning for every piece of traction it could find. Neck and neck alongside Chase Sexton, the bar would be sat just in front, as he would
leap and bound through the series of parallel rhythm lanes. Pushing forward until the final flag, he would qualify fourth. As the sensor would cue the clashing of the gates for the main event, he looked to establish a pace early. With the a good portion of the field behind, it was up to him to control his heart rate and breathing, in order to stay afloat. Although a tad bit of high tide would brush against his two-wheeled ship, he would persevere, looking towards the bow of his front end at all times. With the likes of Mitchell Harrison and Justin Hoeft surrounding him, there was a bit of scare, but
no need to throw out the life jacket. Launching off of the rutted finish line for the final time, he would secure tenth place overall. Solid in his regard, but as always, he would look to continue in the weeks ahead.
