Jackson Blackmon made the most out of the second round of racing at VIR where he was able to grab the first podium finish as well as the first victory of his MotoAmerica career in the same weekend. The rider out of South Carolina missed the first round of the season due to injury, but he already catapulted into fourth place in the points after his stellar showing in Virginia after capitalizing on mistakes by two of his main championship rivals. Action Jackson will be looking to dominate proceedings yet again in Road America as he aims to put his Quarterly Racing/ On Track Development backed KTM on the podium for the third time this season in an attempt to close the gap at the front of the championship.
Blackmon impressed throughout practice and qualifying as he ended up putting himself in the middle of the front row of the grid with>>a 2:50.544, the second fastest time of the session. The rider out of South Carolina
