>> Yamalube Star Racing Rider Aaron Plessinger has been improving each weekend in the outdoor Pro Motocross series. High Point going 3-3 and now last weekend at Muddy Creek finally getting an overall first place finish, we knew that Aaron was coming to Redbud to do the same. Sitting in fourth position for points Aaron is in the competition for the championship title and he’s definitely working for it.
Redbud qualifying went great. The track was in prime condition after some rain the week leading up to the race and the sun was shining down. Feel- ing great after last weekends’ race Plessinger knew today was going to be another winning day. Board drops and the race is underway. Plessinger comes out of the gate in the top ten. No holeshot, but still a solid out front start. As the race goes on Aaron sits in 6th place. Sitting behind his team- mate Dylan Ferrandis, Plessinger is thirsty for a top five finish. Trying and trying again the Yamalube Star Racing Rider just can’t make the pass and ends race number one in sixth place.
Thirty second board is down and Plessinger comes outs of the gate farther back this time. Doing damage control Plessinger sits in 14th as he tries to make a comeback into the top ten. Making 4 passes within a couple laps Plessinger puts himself in 10th place. Jeremy Martin on a mission stalks down Plessinger. Trying to hold off the Geico Honda rider but not being able to keep it stick though Aaron fell back into 11th. The last race of the day for the 250 classes ends and Aaron ends up in 6th overall at Redbud.
