TONI ELIAS
TONI ELIAS : MOTUL SUPERBIKE
There was a fiery battle between the top five throughout the first half of the race with loads of hard braking
maneuvers stealing the show.
ATLANTA!
ROAD ATLANTA
“THE LAST LAP I WAS PUSHING ON THE LIMIT, TRYING TO BE PERFECT.”
Elias was forced to sit up mid-corner
at turn twelve after an aggressive move by Cameron Beaubier forced him over the curbing and onto the grass. He clawed his way back to the tail-end of the leading group over the course of the next ten laps and exacted revenge on his rival
by forcing his way past into third position. Beaubier repeated the overtake from the second lap of
the race and dove up the inside of Elias into turn twelve, forcing his Suzuki off the asphalt yet again. At this point, it was a matter of damage control and the points leader was able to work his way back to second place before the checkered flag, a couple of tenths behind Beaubier.
