The Suzuki pair led the race for every single lap except one, swapping positions back and forth throughout. It wasn’t until the last couple of
laps that they had to deal with the addition of Cameron Beaubier, but Hayden refused to be bested by another Yamaha as he held off the charge from the defending champ and maintained second position all the way to the checkered flag.
