The sixteen year old showed his youthful enthusiasm as the roar of engines
marked the beginning of the second race, streaking down the centerline of the
Paasch was aggressive on his Suzuki as he stole fourth position from the Honda rider, but it only lasted
throughout the opening lap as he fell back to fifth one lap later. He was able to apply what he learned from the first race as he stuck to the rear fender of Solis Jr’s CBR6000, pressuring him until the final third of the race. He forced his Su- zuki up the inside of the Californian with six laps to go, but he was immediately met with a counter attack that displaced him back to fifth position. At that point, Paasch deployed a level of patience well beyond his years as he waited for the opportunity to present itself on the final lap, pouncing without hesitation as he promoted himself to fourth position just before the checkered flag.
