>> After missing the first round of the Monster Energy Su- percross series due to a hand injury Cade Clason couldn’t be sure where he was going to stack up against the class in his debut at round 2. The Privateer Honda rider didn’t miss a beat struggled in in his first two races of the evening. In his first heat race of the year Clason was just outside of the top ten respectfully until he started dropping through the pack due to a mistake. Even though making the main event was next to impossible Clason continued to race on to gain valu- able track knowledge. Regrettably Cade couldn’t rebound from a bad start in his semi race and was prescribed a dos- age of a third race (lcq). The #80 rider was cursed with yet another miserable start in his final chance to compete in the main event. Cade wasnt taking no for an answer, making his way through riders left, right, and center. On the last lap Cla- son was in 5th position and was determined to get himself into the main. A slick move on T.Entichnap sealed the deal on Cades return to AMA Supercross. After a solid round 2, you can expect Cade to improve for next weekend.
