>> The privateer Husqvarna rider of Alex Ray bounced back this weekend in San Diego after failing to qualify at A1. Even though Ray was able to get himself and his sponsors into the main event, there was some scraps left on the table that he could have cleaned up. The #314 had a disappointing heat race but came out swinging in his semi, finishing behind some heavy hitters and narrowly missed qualifying straight out of the race by only two positions. When it was time for the 450 LCQ Alex Ray was determined to get his machine to the front of the field and leave the pack behind. @aray314 started within the top 5 and quickly explored his options to get to the lead. While going through a rhythm section on
the opening lap Ray was able to triple past the leaders and secure top spot, from there on he hit his marks and never looked back. After contributing 15+ minutes in the main event something unknown happened to Ray and he was forced to leave San Diego early.
