>> The Rockstar Energy / OTSFF / Yamaha, in association with Rock River and Cycle Trader, rider of Chris Blose bounced back after two subpar main events in Cincinnati with a sixth place in qualifying. Blose continued his solid form in the the opening heat race as he fit in just behind the defending champion of Gavin Faith, and just ahead of his teammate, in second place. Blose
put himself in a solid position going into the Head 2 Head races, but he ended up coming together with Ben Lamay in the very first round of the bracket style knockout; Lamay took his front wheel away in the final corner and didn’t allow Blose any chance to mount a charge for the victory. The Arizona resident pulled stellar starts all night long, and the main events were no different. He got off to a second place start in the first main event which saw him caught up in a battle with Jace Owen right off the bat. He was able to keep the TiLube / Jack Link’s / TUF Racing Honda rider within his sights for the majority of the race, but he failed to make a move for the lead and had to settle for second place. Blose got another fantastic start in the second main event as he found himself in third position just behind the current points leader and the defend- ing champ. A couple of laps into the race, Faith made a mistake and dropped out of contention which moved Blose up into second position. He took the opportunity with open arms and put in con- sistent lap times, eventually bringing home the Rockstar Energy / OTSFF / Yamaha home for a second place overall.
