>> The rookie sensation started his Road to Supercross journey in Cincinnati on good form and continued that way during qualifying at Grand Rapids as he clocked the twelfth fastest time of the night. In his heat race, McAdoo found himself in a tight battle with the Kawa- saki rider of Gared Steinke that produced a fifth place finish for the rider out of Iowa. He put in one of the charges of the evening in the first main event of the AX class as he didn’t do himself any favors out of the gate. He crossed the stripe in tenth position on the open- ing lap and was forced to make some passes throughout the race in order to eventually finish fifth. Gritty rides such as this one prove that he’s worth his salt as a racer attempting to make an impression in the 250 East series that will be kicking off relatively soon. McA- doo showed his racing intelligence and his ability to be consistent
in the second main event as he got out to a decent start. He came across the line in fifth place and was able to ride smoothly enough to hold the position until the end of the moto. After Faith made a mistake, he moved up to fourth position, but Goerke took the spot back in the waning laps of the moto. All in all, McAdoo earned some valuable experience and points on the night with two incredibly solid fifth place finishes.
