MAX VOHLAND
Max Vohland has stayed relatively quiet following his third place overall finish in the Mini Sr. 1 class in August of 2017 at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch. The Team Dunlop Elite rider has since devoted his focus full-time to the Su- permini and made the decision to put his skills to the test against some of the nation’s best at the Anaheim Amateur Supercross. Speed and style are never a question for the Orange Brigade backed rider and things were no different in practice as he came to grips with the track in no time. Vohland always seems to scrub with more aggression, charge through the corners with more momentum, and push to the limit in each section of the track. His performances throughout heat racing action rewarded him with a pair of wins and a top five fin- ish, putting him in a good spot for the main events. Unfortunately, a couple of unlucky circumstances dropped him back to sixteenth in the Supermini 2 class, but Vohland was able to redeem himself in the other Supermini classes with a pair of podium finishes.
