MITCHELL FALK
After finishing up the opening round
of SXA racing in Anaheim with a pair of main event victories, Mitchell Falk was heading to the University of Phoenix Stadium with a truck- load of confidence in tow. The Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/KTM rider was aiming for a couple more main event victories in the A class, but
he would be challenged by the unrelenting speed of his teammate, Derek Drake. In the second 250 A heat race, the pair of Californian teammates had a showdown to the checkered flag and it was Drake that came out on top. In the open- ing heat race for the Open A class, Falk came across another rival in the form of Carson Brown. The two of them finished at the front of the field, but the Troy Lee Designs/ Red Bull/KTM rider had to settle for second once again. The 250 A main event produced another showdown between the KTM teammates and Falk narrowly missed out on the victory to Drake, but he was able
to find the top step of the podium yet again in the Open A main event, rounding out the weekend with a pair of podium finishes.
