ZACH OSBORNE
There are a few routes you can take while transitioning from an amateur to a professional racer, such as AMA Promotocross/Supercross, Amsoil Arenacross, Canadian racing, MXGP’s, ect... Zach Osborne tried his hand at Supercross/motocross in the AMA but things didn’t pan out for the young star and he was looking for a way to rekindle the flame in his career. No deals where lining up for Osborne to race
in America, and his options where limited. In need of some soul searching Zach made the decision to move away from home and race the MXGP circuit. Team BikeIt Yamaha greeted Osborne to the team with open arms and it didn’t take long for
the relationship to grow strong between the two. Eventually Zach was a front runner in the mx2 class and the team offered him
a deal he could not refuse. Osborne was granted time to practice supercross tracks in America and race a few of the West coast series. It looked as the MXGP circuit did wonders for the 338 and he was rejuvenated with a new ethic. After doing so well on his BikeIt Yamaha in the limited supercross races he entered he was a hot property for teams and was handed a contract from the powerhouse team of Geico Honda. Things didn’t pan out exactly as planned but Osborne had made a name for himself in the 250 class and Rockstar Husqvarna picked him up.
