After race one it looked like Adam Cianciarulo was back to his usual self with a 4th place finish. Adam pulled a massive holeshot in moto 1 and was running his own race. He lead Cooper Webb for 15 minutes, eventually letting him and Savatgy by. Maybe Adam knew he couldn’t run the pace for the whole moto but he looked comfortable leading, which was a good sign for race two. Running in 8th for much of the second moto ruined AC’s chances of an overall podium finish but it was still a good day for the young rider. The heat eventually took its tole on Adam in race two and he elected to play it safe and pulled off of the track before he made any big mistakes. I’d like to point out that Cianciarulo wasn’t the only rider that pulled off because of the heat, as the temperatures at Unadilla where outrageous.
