DAXTON BENNICK
One of the many Team Dunlop Elite riders tearing up the amateur motocross ranks, Daxton Bennick added another exceptional year to his resume in 2017. The Orange Brigade backed athlete started off with a couple of championships at Millcreek in early March and kept up his winning form throughout the remainder of spring nationals, earning four titles between the Daytona RCSX and the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship. A mechanical failure hin- dered Bennick from winning his third Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Championship this past year, but the North Carolina native still left the Ranch with a second place overall finish. He rounded out the calendar year with a slew of top drawer performances at Mini O’s, adding another number one plate to the mantle. Bennick underwent surgery in the off-season to repair a nagging injury in his elbow, but he’ll surely be a championship contender when he returns to full fitness.
