HUNTER YODER
Hunter Yoder didn’t have the most ac- tive 2017 racing season due to inces- sant injury issues, but the young Cali- fornian has already proven himself as a title contender whenever healthy. Between 2013 and 2016, Yoder only finished off the overall podium at Loretta Lynn’s on one occasion and he has continued to get better every year, eventually winning his first title in the 65cc (10-11) class in 2016. Since signing with the AMSOIL | Factory Connection | Honda team, he hasn’t had much of an opportunity to show his skills, but it’s still apparent that he’s got it. His stint at Mini O’s was cut short last year on the very first day of Supercross racing after he broke his femur, but he’s back on his CRF150R and ready to make some noise during spring nationals.
PIERCE BROWN
Any rider that has proven them- selves as a multi-time Loretta Lynn’s National Champion is to be taken seriously, and Pierce Brown is no exception. The Utah native has stood on the top step of the podium at the Ranch in both 2012 and 2015, filling in the gaps with a plethora of podium finishes. The Orange Brigade backed rider put himself at the forefront of the B class in 2017, racking up multiple titles throughout spring nationals in addition to the nine podiums that he accumulated throughout the month
of March. His best finish at Loretta Lynn’s in 2017 was a second place overall in the Schoolboy 2 class and he continued in the same form at
the Monster Energy Cup, snagging second place in the Amateur All-Stars class. Brown was eager to end 2017 on a good note and he did more than just that at Mini O’s, winning four out of six classes that he signed up to race.
