WESTON PEICK
The #28 AutoTraders JGR Yamaha rider may be living the dream the past couple of years but his story is not like most of the riders. Weston was once a privateer rider who was lucky to make main events in supercross, or even score points in the outdoor series. Peick worked hard to get make
himself the top privateer in the class, proving his worth and hoping for a spot on a team. Weston put it all on the line and built a privateer Suzuki 450 and was putting in great finishes, RCH Suzuki picked him up for the nationals in 2014, marking his first season aboard a team. In the off season he picked up a ride from JGR Yamaha and produced good enough results in 2015 for the team to sign the #28 for 2016. Weston’s contract is up at the end of the season, which leaves us wondering where he will find himself in 2017? Stay tuned.
