With the races kicking off quickly, Bloss was looking super strong in the start of moto two. Seemingly
in 3rd out of the first turn but shuffled back to 4th by the second, Bloss rode well early in the race but after being pushed to 5th by Marvin Musquin, Benny tried to latch on to the Frenchman, failing to keep pace. As the race continued to develop, Bloss was in the wrong spot as both Eli Tomac and recently returned Jason Anderson began to push Big Ben into some minor mistakes. With Eli getting the better
of Bloss first, Anderson was then only a few bike lengths out of reach as Benny’s battles weren’t over yet. Bloss wasn’t able to keep Anderson behind him, though, getting pushed back to 7th where he would stay through the entire mid-way and late portions of the race all the way to the checkered flag. It almost seemed routine for Bloss who had started the year outside the top ten and was, now, finishing the year in the heart of the top ten.
