The track acted as a giant glass mirror, the water reflecting the light that was trying to break through the clouds. With rain pouring in days before, the battlegrounds would be sloppy, and Alldrdge felt he was well prepared. An unpleasing start however, a change was issued to Alldredge’s plan of a solid over- all, forcing him to dig into his creative arsenal and make his way past riders on unchartered portions of
track. 24th in the opening laps, Chris began to sort through riders in front of him, with the weight of mud bearing on his visor and chest protector. With the momentum building, a sudden stop in the tracks was placed upon him, as a tip over would force the bike into the grotesque mud, and Alldredge to re-work the ground he had previously gained. With each lap dwindling by, Chris would work his way to 18th by moto’s end, and look forward to redemption. The sun began to gleam on the Crawfordsville course, as the clock neared 2:30 in the afternoon. With the soil baking amidst the midwestern oven, Alldredge got his bearings together and begin to sink into traction with the layout. Eleventh after the green flag, Alldredge pressed forward nearing the halfway point, pivoting his way inside the top ten. The Pro Circuit team was seeing glimpses of the premise in which they signed him on, and were happy. Dealing with Mitchell Harrison for a portion of the moto, he was displaying a daunting effort to claim every position he possibly could. As the race came to a conclusion, Alldredge would bring home an eleventh place finish, and 16th place overall.
