>> 2017 marks the sophomore season for Henry Miller. The Roches- ter, Minnesota product has enjoyed small successes during his young career. He has qualified for four main events and even went out and earned himself a very respectable twelfth place finish last year in Fox- borough. He has shown on occasion that he has the speed to be up there with the big boys but his lack of consistency is his Achilles heel. He failed to qualify at the 250 East Coast series opener in Minnesota but he turned around and got in a week ago in Atlanta and looked to do the same north of the border in Toronto.
Miller qualified modestly with the twenty-sixth fastest lap time but he was more than ready to contend in his heat for a spot in the main event. Miller would do just that as he stormed out to a seventh-place start. He looked aggressive early and made a move on the fast Luke Renzland for sixth. His adrenaline wore off just a bit as a few laps later Renzland made his way back around but Miller would hold on to finish convincingly in seventh.
The main event did not go as well as the heat race for Miller. He suf- fered a much worse start buried in sixteenth place at the green flag. He was only a spot out of the top fifteen but he started to go back- wards instead of forward. He got knocked back to eighteenth after a few laps and then would run into trouble on lap seven forcing him to head to the pits early. He would officially end up twenty-second overall but it did mark his second straight main event.
