>> Cole Seely is known for his skill on the Supercross track and there is no question why. Currently sitting fourth in points behind Eli Tomac, the factory Honda rider has been working hard trying to bring home the podiums since his teammate Ken Roczen is sitting on the sidelines. Qualifying eighth into the night show, it was going to need to be a night full of good starts for the Honda rider. As the gate fell for the first heat race, Seely was sitting back around twelfth through the first turn. Taking chances and making moves the number 14 was able to maneuver his way up seventh before the end of the race. Still a few positions out of qualifying Seely was off to the semi’s
to fight for his position in the main event. Getting a much better jump out
of the gate Seely was sitting back in fifth behind the veteran Josh Grant. A little over half way through the race he pushed his way around Grant and Friese into third place. Finishing off the semi in third the Factory Honda rider knew what to prepare for going into the main event. Seely didn’t
quite get the jump he needed out of the gate sitting back around seventh. Dungey immediately came up on him passing him before the end of the fourth lap was over. Trying to make the pass back he carried a little too much momentum through a rhythm section sending himself right into the side of Dungey. He luckily didn’t take him but was able to pass him back.
It didn’t last long because Dungey made the pass again. Malcom Stewart then made a mistake, so Seely was able to hold onto his seventh place position. About half way through the race the Honda rider was able to make another pass moving him into sixth place. It was a steady pace through to the finish where he crossed the finish line in sixth place.
