>> The new wave of professional Supercross stars are upon us, as time seems to blitz by. It’s a changing of the guard, so to speak, with riders like Dungey, Villopoto, Stewart, and Canard seemingly being shuffled out the door. Rides, although a rarity, are beginning to become of slight availability, and the 250 class provides a platform for the new breed to prove why they should be chosen. Adam Cianciarulo understands this, and takes each individual race as an opportunity to display his raw talent, reiterating to team managers that he’s the cream of the crop, in regards to this particular age bracket. Battling with the top of the division throughout qualifiying, he knew that this particular time meant a little more than in races past. Luckily, his timing through sections like the triple-triple combination, following the rather speedy mogul excerpt, propelled him to a solid gate pick, come time for the main event. As the gate would fall for moto number one, he looked to make moves in a hurry, realizing the duration of this event was of the utmost importance. Blitzing through the on-off, triple section after the start, he would then cutoff the apex of the following bowl turn, and make passes as he etched up the leaderboard. Improving with every lap, although not quite being able to make his way around Oldenburg he would go on to finish, fourth. The latch for main event number two would unlock, and his mind would continue to track forward, through the opening triple and chicane. Battling with the likes of Craig, Sexton, everyone else in his way, his persistence couldn’t blemish. He would have to keep his nose to the grindstone, in order to stay in contention for a solid overall. The seventh on lap one would transcend in ascending fashion, never wavering. As he would wheeltap, in the small roller section, his precision looked to be on point, as he would search for the relic of a fourty-nine second lap time. He would chip away every go around, eventu- ally ending up fifth. With the heartbeat pounding, and his blood flow increasing with every heartbeat, it was time for the final event. He would try and shave every possible millisecond, compressing the suspension like a mountain bike throughout the far rolling sweeper. It was little instances such as these, leading him to concoct the speed necessary to stay ahead of Christian Craig. Never complacent with his spot, he would hound the number fourty, along
with Joey Savatgy. Sexton, although out front, would quickly drop to third. AC would absolutely hound Savatgy to the finish, but would come up just a bit short. Although exhausted from the series of ups and downs throughout the night, and the constant repetition of competing, he finished a solid fourth overall, looking to move forward as the series went along.
