>> After winning the 250 West Coast title last year Justin Hill was faced with many decisions regarding his future. Justin ended up electing to turn down a deal from his current team that he won the title with to go to a relatively new team. Justin Hill parted ways with arguably the best 250 team in the world to go to a brand new 250 team with JGR. One huge deal breaker for Hill was
that once this year is done Hill will have opportunity to race on 450 machine
in 2019. So far Hills gamble on switching teams doesn’t seem like the right choice as he is sitting 8th in points after 3 rounds sitting a whole race back in points (26). Hill didn’t start his title run in 2017 off with a bang either so hope- fully he can turn things around soon. Main event #1 started off and the defend- ing champ was in 11th as the riders crossed the holeshot line. Justin made a costly mistake on the first lap dropping him all the way back to 19th on lap one. The #1 charged hard to get back to his starting position 11th, where he would go on to finish. Race two started off bad once again with Justin in 14th. The JGR Suzuki rider diced his way to 10th in the early stages of the race. Mid way through the race Hill made the move on Chisholm for 9th. With 11-9 finishes
so far Justin was looking to change his luck heading into the final race of the night. Hill got his JGR Suzuki off to a great start coming around turn one in 4th. Sadly the good start didn’t help out the the defending champ as he lost a hand- ful of positions on th opening lap dropping him back to 8th. Hill was holding on to 8th until McElrath made his way by and Plessinger followed. It is time for the Champ to show up.
